“I never played as much as I would have hoped under you, You didn’t believe in me and my ability, I was alwsys on the bench.”-‘I just hope we don’t sign or sell any players until we get a new manager in.’-Chelsea star has apologised to Mauricio Pochettino after his exit! 😲😲

Reece James has written a letter of solidarity to Mauricio Pochettino following his Chelsea leave, apologising for his lack of availability this season.

Pochettino was anticipated to be given a second season with Chelsea following the team’s impressive finish to the season, which included five straight Premier League victories.

However, after an end-of-season evaluation, Chelsea’s administration chose to replace managers, thereby ending Pochettino’s reign.

James, however, started only six games under Pochettino due to a hamstring ailment that necessitated surgery in December.

And in his letter to Pochettino, the Chelsea captain apologized for missing the most of the season.

James said on Instagram: ‘Thank you for everything, boss.

We had an incredible relationship from the minute we met.

‘Under you, I never played as much as I would have liked, something I regret but couldn’t change.

‘When many people questioned me, you trusted in me and assigned me a significant amount of responsibilities.

‘Also, a particular mention to the other staff who performed a significant role that few people would see: Jesus Perez, Toni Jimenez, Miguel D’Agostino, and Sebastiano Pochettino. Thank you everybody, and best wishes for the future.

‘Chelsea are a great club, and everyone wants to finish better than sixth, but you have to look at where we were at the start of the season; we’ve been 13th and 12th all season. “Last season was obviously the same,” Palmer explained.

‘So returning to Europe is a positive step forward.

‘The manager deserves a lot of credit because all of the players adore him and want to fight for him. We’re still gelling, and everyone can see it.

Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic said of Pochettino before his departure in an interview with MailOnline: ‘For my part, I truly believe him and the entire coaching team because they believed in me and gave me the opportunity.
