Jadon Sancho has talked about his future after inflicting a blow to Erik ten Hag’s hopes of continuing as Manchester United boss.

Sancho had a fantastic individual performance as Borussia Dortmund defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night in Germany.

Since returning to Dortmund on loan from United in the January transfer window, the 24-year-old has recovered his form.

He returned to the Bundesliga following a clash with United boss Ten Hag earlier this season.

Sancho was dropped from the first-team squad in September after refusing to apologise to the Dutch manager following a disagreement over his training efforts.

After Ten Hag publically chastised Sancho at a news conference, the player replied by alleging that the United manager had made him a’scapegoat’, calling his claims ‘absolutely false’.

He later joined Dortmund on loan and was linked with a permanent move to the club during the summer transfer window.

When asked if he expects to stay with the club next season, Sancho told CBS Sports, “I truly don’t know.” I am currently focused on the moment.”

Sancho has accidentally thrown a significant damage to Ten Hag’s chances of staying at Old Trafford next season.

Following Dortmund’s victory against PSG, Germany will join Italy in receiving an additional berth in the Champions League next season, depending on their accomplishments in European play this season.
