He should leave this Club now,I don’t like lazy player that don’t want to improve’: Arteta has told one Arsenal player to find His way out of the club by the summer or He will be treated just as Aubameyang

Arsenal is reportedly eyeing a surprising move in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Nottingham Forest’s midfielder, Morgan Gibbs-White, catching their attention, as per reports from the Daily Star. Despite having a robust attacking lineup, Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta is eager to strengthen the squad for the forthcoming 2024/25 season. The potential departure of Emile Smith Rowe has sparked speculation, prompting Arsenal to consider alternatives, with Gibbs-White emerging as a viable option to fill the potential void.

Nottingham Forest recently faced a 4-point deduction for breaching Profitability and Sustainability regulations, potentially leading to further financial troubles unless they can generate revenue. This situation opens the door for the club to contemplate parting ways with Gibbs-White, their record signing obtained for £42.5 million from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2022.

Gibbs-White has been a key contributor for Forest since his arrival, tallying 4 goals and 5 assists this season. Despite his impact, Forest has struggled to capitalize on his numerous opportunities due to deficiencies in their attacking department. Given Forest’s financial situation, they might entertain offers for Gibbs-White, especially if Arsenal presents an enticing proposition.

Arteta sees Gibbs-White as a potential replacement for Smith Rowe, whose playing time has dwindled due to injuries and a perceived loss of trust. Gibbs-White’s adaptability and proficiency in various attacking roles make him an attractive prospect for Arsenal. Although he primarily operates as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing, his versatility allows him to fit into different positions across the front line, providing valuable backup for key players like Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka.

However, the potential hurdle lies in whether Gibbs-White would accept a reduced role at Arsenal compared to the chance of being a regular starter elsewhere. Nonetheless, if Arsenal can negotiate a deal for Gibbs-White, it could prove to be a savvy acquisition, enhancing squad depth and quality ahead of the upcoming campaign.
