According to John Obi Mikel, Manchester City player Kevin De Bruyne has the best right foot in world football.
The 32-year-old is in his ninth season with Manchester United, having joined from Wolfsburg in 2015 for a reported £55 million.
However, the Belgian has just received major recognition from a former top-flight midfielder.
Mikel said De Bruyne has the finest right foot.
Mikel had this to say when asked to choose a player with the best right foot after selecting Lionel Messi for his ideal left foot in a recent video released on Goal’s Tik Tok channel where he was asked to design his ultimate footballer.
He was quoted as saying: “I know the [Cristiano] Ronaldo fans are going to kill me but I’m going to go [with] Kevin De Bruyne.”

De Bruyne has played 361 games for City in all competitions, scoring 97 goals and assisting 155 times.
Of his 65 Premier League goals, 44 have come with his right foot and 21 with his left.
This demonstrates that, while his right foot is more dominant, his left is still capable of making meaningful goal contributions.
With all of that said, it’s clear that City have profited significantly from De Bruyne’s right foot over a long period of time.
Indeed, the 32-year-old is widely regarded as one of the club’s best purchases in the last decade.
