French World Cup winner and PSG Star Kylian Mbappe has confirmed he will be leaving PSG this Summer and joining this shocking European Champions.

Kylian Mbappe has formally declared his departure from Paris Saint-Germain, ahead of a possible move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe’s future has long been a source of speculation, with his contract set to expire this summer.

There had been no official word on Mbappe’s status until X days after Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League semi-final defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

He sent an emotional parting note, indicating that he will take on a new challenge after seven years.

That battle is largely expected to take place in the Spanish capital with Real, with Fabrizio Romano saying that everything has been decided upon since February.

He will move to the Santiago Bernabeu in what might be the most expensive free transfer in history.

Mbappe is expected to earn a stunning £171 million per year at PSG, and while certain specifics still to be worked out, Sky Sports reports that he will accept a wage reduction at Real.

Real Madrid will effectively give the player the money that they would have paid as a transfer fee,” Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol stated.

“He will receive a hefty signing-on fee; there are reports in Spain that it may be more than £100 million.”

Mbappe will make his farewell appearance at the Parc des Princes on Sunday, saying an emotional goodbye to the PSG fans.

“It’s a lot of feelings, many years where I had the opportunity and tremendous honor to be a member of the largest French club, one of the finest in the world,” he wrote in his statement.

“It allowed me to come here, to have my first experience in a high-pressure club, and to mature as a player by playing alongside some of history’s greatest champions.

“It’s painful, and I never expected to have to make that announcement. But I believe I needed this, a fresh challenge, after seven years.
