Former Manchester United Player and Inter Miami Owmer David Beckham is set to sign Manchester United FLOP this summer after leaving United
David Beckham wants to add Raphael Varane, a Manchester United reject, to his Inter Miami group of superstars.
Varane, 31, who departed Old Trafford when his contract ended at the conclusion of the season, has been approached about joining Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba at the Chase Stadium next season.
During three injury-filled seasons at Manchester United, the Frenchman cost the club £85 million in transfer costs and salaries, while only making 68 Premier League matches. However, Miami owner Beckham is willing to give Varane one more payday in the MLS in order to raise the club’s brand even more.
After 20 games, the team leads the MLS standings as the season nears its end. The transfer window is open from July 18 until August 14, although Varane may sign a contract now because he is a free agent.
The opportunity to reconnect with some of his former adversaries from his best years will be appealing. Varane was a popular character at United, despite his fitness difficulties, and helped the Reds defeat rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup farewell in his farewell game.
And Varane sent an emotional message to United fans before of the final, which Erik ten Hag’s side won 2-1 due to goals from youngsters Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.
“It’s been an incredible few years to play for this unique club and wear that shirt,” Varane stated. “My first visit to Old Trafford as a Manchester United player was unforgettable; the atmosphere was incredible.”When fans visit Wembley Stadium, they leave with lasting memories. To share that moment with them [winning the Carabao Cup] was incredible. Despite the fact that we had a rough season, I am optimistic for the future.
