Former Chelsea Player Cesc Fabregas has been spotted in Stamford Bridge training ground this week ahead of stunning managerial return!

After an hour-and-a-half conversation, Cesc Fabregas revealed his reason for visiting Chelsea’s training facility last week and expressed surprise at Mauricio Pochettino’s sudden departure. Just 11 months after signing with Chelsea, the Argentine manager left the west London club on Tuesday night by “mutual consent.” Chelsea is now on the hunt for a new manager. The Blues ended the season with five consecutive wins, securing a spot in European competitions. They also reached the Carabao Cup final and the FA Cup semi-final after a challenging season. While his comments dashed fans’ hopes that he might be in contention for the managerial position, Como manager Fabregas mentioned that there was no indication during his visit to Cobham on Friday that Pochettino’s tenure was about to conclude. On Wednesday, Fabregas commented on BBC Sounds’ Planet Premier League podcast, “It’s tough sometimes to accept or give an opinion when you are not there to observe what happened.” He added, “Look, I was there in real life. Strangely enough, I spent the weekend in London.” Fabregas noted his good relationship with Mauricio, stating, “I got along well with Mauricio. He always seemed like such a great guy, a gentleman, to me when we played against them.” Reflecting on his visit, Fabregas said, “I felt like they were winning four straight games, and that was Friday [that he visited], two days before the season ended, so it was a nice, good, and laid-back atmosphere around the training field for the final game of the season.”
