FIFA has just made a very sad announcement regarding the officials and referees of the match between Chelsea and Brighton.

At the Amex, Chelsea is ahead 1-0. Who else? It was Cole Palmer.

He just scored a great shot after Marc Cucurella made a bad pass back to him. He sent the ball in, but we’re not sure what he meant. It put Palmer in a tough spot, but the goal machine took it first time and found the net.

A player rarely takes on a header short of the near post and then guides it into the far side net, so it was a bit of an odd goal. Cole Palmer can, though, if anyone can. He did it.

He had no choice but to shoot that ball, which worked out in the end because it went in on the first try.
