FIFA has just announced VERY SAD NEWS for the Officials and Referees of the match between Chelsea vs Totheham and this have cost them thier Jo

An irritated Ange Postecoglou said his Tottenham players were ‘nowhere near good enough’ following their 2-0 loss to Chelsea, but accepted responsibility for the underwhelming performance at Stamford Bridge.

Trevor Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson both scored headed goals on a pleasant evening for Mauricio Pochettino’s weakened Chelsea team, who came into the game having lost three straight games.

The visitors would have expected a strong reaction after back-to-back Premier League losses to Newcastle and Arsenal, but there was nowhere to be seen in west London, and Postecoglou’s irritation turned to rage before the conclusion of the first half.

TV cameras caught an angry Postecoglou storming into Pape Matar Sarr and Cristian Romero shortly after Chalobah’s opening, with the 58-year-old giving his players the full hairdryer treatment from his coaching area.

However, Postecoglou’s rage had no effect on the night, as the defeat left the north London club seven points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa with four games remaining in the season.

‘No, it’s not good enough, and I have to accept responsibility for it. That’s on me,’ Postecoglou told Sky Sports in a tense post-match interview.

‘I’m the manager; I’m the one who puts them out there, and that was far from good enough.

‘As I previously stated, I need to look at how I can have a greater influence by resolving all of this.’

When asked where Tottenham fell short, Postecoglou responded, “Well, when we put on a performance like we did in the first half, it shows obviously my message isn’t going through.”

‘That is for me to address.’

When Sky Sports’ Patrick Davison asked the Tottenham manager to clarify out his message that ‘didn’t go through’ to the players, he was plainly upset with the line of inquiry.

Come on, mate. We did not play well. What do you want? Should I sit here and write you a report on where we went wrong? He snapped back.

‘Like I said, I’ll accept blame; we were impoverished at the beginning. I still believe their goal was a foul, but nobody cares about that.

‘But we didn’t deserve anything better, and as I already stated, that is on me.’

Postecoglou was quick to point out that his wrath had nothing to do with surrendering, but rather with his team’ terrible first-half performance.

‘It wasn’t about surrendering the goal; it was about how we played football,’ he stated.

‘We were just nothing near good enough, nowhere near as positive as we should have been, and that’s on me.’

Tottenham have conceded far too easily from set pieces this season, and Postecoglou was not pleased when Davison asked why he appeared to be uninterested in solving the problem.

‘That’s a pretty nice question,’ he said sarcastically.

‘I didn’t say I wasn’t interested; I just stated it wasn’t a priority for me, which is OK. If people believe that we are missing set pieces, that is great. I will do my job.
