FIFA has just announced VERY SAD NEWS for the Officials and Referees of the match between Chelsea and Liverpool and this have cost them thier Job

Ryan Gravenberch’s injury to his ankle ligament has been confirmed by Jurgen Klopp, who expressed his frustration with the officiating during Liverpool’s triumph over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final. The match extended into extra time, with Virgil van Dijk scoring a decisive goal in the 118th minute, securing a 1-0 win for the Reds.

However, the first half witnessed Gravenberch being carried off the field on a stretcher following a reckless challenge by Moises Caicedo, resulting in the Dutch midfielder being stamped on his ankle by Caicedo’s studs. Despite the incident, Caicedo faced no disciplinary action and was seen celebrating with his teammates post-match, aided by crutches and a protective boot.

Addressing the issue, Klopp confirmed the ligament damage suffered by Gravenberch, clarifying that nothing was broken. Nonetheless, Klopp began by criticizing the referee’s performance, stating, “The referee did not match the intensity of the game,” highlighting the competitive nature of the encounter between the two teams.

Klopp’s frustration with the officiating continued as he described the lack of punishment for the challenge, emphasizing the need for a card for such actions. Concerning Gravenberch’s injury, Klopp expressed hope that it wouldn’t be severe, revealing that while the X-ray showed no fractures, ligament damage was present.

The growing injury list poses a challenge for Liverpool, with Klopp expressing doubts about fielding a team for their upcoming FA Cup match against Southampton. Gravenberch’s addition to the list further complicates matters, leaving Klopp uncertain about the team’s availability for the fixture.

Reflecting on the demanding schedule, Klopp acknowledged the toll it takes on the team but remained determined to persevere through the challenges. Despite the setbacks, Klopp remains optimistic about Liverpool’s resilience and determination in facing adversity on the field.
