England superstar has decided to change nationality with immediate effect and will NEVER play for Gareth Southgate’s side ever again

Gareth Southgate, England’s national team manager, emphasized that the selection door remains wide open not only for Raheem Sterling but also for other players who are currently not part of the team. He highlighted Sterling’s significant contributions to the team’s journey in recent years, underscoring his role despite any ongoing discussions about his personality or qualities. Southgate reiterated the team’s impressive performance and posed the question of who could be missing from the squad.

Expressing regret over John Stones’ recent injury setback, Southgate empathized with the player’s situation, acknowledging the challenges he faces. He acknowledged the opportunity that arises from Stones’ absence, emphasizing the need to explore other players’ capabilities in that position on the field. Southgate revealed his intention to include Reece James, but the player opted not to join the team, citing his readiness concerns, a decision Southgate respected.

The injury status of several players, including James Maddison, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, and Callum Wilson, remains uncertain, potentially affecting the team’s lineup.

The England team roster includes a mix of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards, representing various clubs domestically and abroad. Among the goalkeepers are Aaron Ramsdale, Jordan Pickford, and Sam Johnstone, providing depth and experience in the squad. The defensive lineup comprises players like Fikayo Tomori, Kieran Trippier, Harry Maguire, and others, offering a blend of youth and experience to bolster the team’s backline.

In midfield, players such as Declan Rice, Jordan Henderson, Conor Gallagher, and Kalvin Phillips bring their respective strengths and skills to the team’s midfield engine room. The forward line features a mix of established stars like Harry Kane and emerging talents like Bukayo Saka and Phil Foden, providing versatility and attacking prowess to the team’s frontline.

With injuries and fitness concerns impacting player availability, Southgate faces the challenge of assembling a competitive squad capable of achieving success on the international stage. However, he remains confident in the depth and talent within the squad, emphasizing the need for collective effort and commitment as England prepares for upcoming fixtures.
