Confirmed by Fabrizio Romano Liverpool has announced SAD News for Manager Jürgen Klopp-The Carabao Cup final just got a whole lot more interesting
In an interview with the media, Xabi Alonso praised Jurgen Klopp on his choice to resign as manager of Liverpool.
To begin with, it was unexpected. Before moving to Liverpool, I had a great deal of respect and affection for Jurgen, and throughout his tenure there, my admiration for him grew even more in light of his accomplishments and methods.
He would, however, avoid making any significant remarks on his future, saying instead, “Right now, I’m really happy here and I’m enjoying my work here.” Every game and every day present challenges. We’re having a wonderful trip.
I have no time to consider what comes next. All I can think about is the now. I’m happy and in a terrific place right now.

Graham Souness responds to the departure of Klopp.
Let’s begin by examining some of the responses to Klopp’s unexpected resignation.
“I’m amazed, I just think the demands of that job, it’s one of the best jobs in the world if you get it right and he has done that,” stated Souness, a former manager and player for Liverpool. Though it seems like he has a team again, it just affects the person.
“Jurgen Klopp seems like such a great fit for Liverpool because he is so focused and effective.” He is belligerent, angry, and forceful, but it wears him out. Being a manager at a major football club comes with a lot of pressure.

Michael Owen is optimistic that Xabi Alonso, the idol of Liverpool, who shocked everyone by deciding to leave at the end of the season, will be thinking about taking Jurgen Klopp’s place.
“There’ll be loads of options available to Alonso in the future, and I would have thought that he would probably have his eyes set on the teams that he played for – like Real Madrid or Liverpool – when the opportunity comes up,” former Liverpool striker Michael Owen said to Boyle Sports in regards to the Spaniard’s possible next move.
