Coming from Fabrizio Romano this morning Karim Benzema has joined Premier League giants this morning and he is currently onboard to join this Club
It has been said again that Manchester United and Arsenal want to sign renowned striker Karim Benzema. However, the Frenchman says that rumours that he wants to leave Al Ittihad are “completely false.”
Benzema joined Al Ittihad from Real Madrid, 14-time Champions League winners, in the summer of 2023. He signed a three-year deal worth £172m per year, but different news sources say he is unhappy in Saudi Arabia.
A recent report on 90min said that the 36-year-old would have a hard time leaving the Middle East, even if he wanted to. It was thought that Benzema would be the star player to leave the European Premier League for the Saudi Pro League. Any possible departure would need to be approved by both Al Ittihad’s coach Marcelo Gallardo and their sporting director Roman Planes, as well as Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Sport.
As 90min also knows, Benzema has not told Al Ittihad that he is unhappy and wants to leave, but that hasn’t stopped the rumours since he got back to training late from a vacation in Mauritius.
Tuesday, news outlets in France said that Benzema had asked to leave Al Ittihad “temporarily.” Meanwhile, a major Spanish newspaper, Marca, said that he was going to meet with the club’s leaders because Manchester United and Arsenal wanted to sign him.
Lyon, Benzema’s old team, is also said to be interested in signing him. The Frenchman scored 354 goals and won a lot of trophies during his 14 years at Real Madrid, but a move to the Premier League has really sparked interest from fans who want to see him play in England.
Now, Benzema has hit back at rumours that he might be leaving, telling L’Equipe, “It’s not true at all!” There is nothing new for the French media to report. “More is better.”

The huge amount of money Benzema makes would make things even more complicated—Jordan Henderson ended up breaking his contract at Al Ettifaq to join Ajax—but he would definitely help the two Premier League teams improve their scoring choices.
Currently ranked eighth in the Premier League, United is having a tough time. They have lost nine of their 21 games and have only scored 24 goals. Rasmus Hojlund has played well at times, but Marcus Rashford has had a hard time and Anthony Martial hasn’t scored any goals at all.
Arsenal, on the other hand, is still trying to win the Premier League title, but they too have had trouble scoring. The Gunners’ 5-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday was a big change from their previous two losses to West Ham United and Fulham. However, Gabriel Jesus has only scored three goals in the league, while Bukayo Saka has six, making him the team’s top scorer.
In 15 games for Al Ittihad, Benzema has scored nine goals and set up five others. However, the team is still a long way behind the leaders in the Saudi Pro League title race. There are no losses for Al Hilal so far this season. They are 25 points ahead of Al Ittihad and ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr.
