Coming from Fabrizio Romano Manchester United fans go crazy as Jurgen Klopp makes feelings clear on taking Manchester United Job after Sir Jim Ratcliffe promise to pay him double of his salary
Many in the football world were shocked when Jurgen Klopp announced on Friday morning that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, citing a lack of energy.
Even though Klopp guided Liverpool to a strong start to the season, he made it clear that he has no desire to manage any English teams after leaving Anfield, including Manchester United, Arsenal, or Chelsea.
The former manager of Borussia Dortmund announced his intention to step away from managing any other team or nation for a minimum of a year. He stated that he could never manage anywhere in England and that he had a strong bond with Liverpool, ruling out a long-term return to the Premier League. Considering Liverpool to be an important part of his family, Klopp stressed his love and appreciation for the team in an interview with Sky Sports.
“Liverpool is part of my family; we feel at home here, and I would never consider managing anywhere else,” said Klopp. He emphasised his dedication to Liverpool and the sense of accountability he took in choosing his course of action. Klopp understood his position at Liverpool and that it protected him from firing.
Even though Klopp intends to return to work, he stated that he will not be coaching a team or a nation for at least a year. He stated that a different goal was required and that he was willing to consider other options.
With former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi, and Al-Ettifaq’s head coach Steven Gerrard among the names linked to the soon-to-be empty role, Klopp’s departure has stoked rumours about possible successors. Later in the season, when the news of Klopp’s leaving settles, other candidates should come forward.
