Chelsea’s Axel Disasi scores a Ridiculous own goal in the club’s FA Cup clash with Leicester City, Chelsea fans are probably fortunate to miss it ❌👀
During Chelsea’s FA Cup quarterfinal match against Leicester, BBC’s live broadcast had a bad glitch.
The Foxes are back in the game after Axel Disasi scored a terrible own goal.
It was missed by the announcer, who was busy playing back the play when the ball went in.
Before the break, Chelsea was in charge of the game. Goals from Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer gave them a 2-0 lead.
And it looked like Chelsea would have an easy second half since they were in charge in the first half.
“It’s completely ridiculous,” said Martin Keown on the comments. He gives the ball back to the custodian in an easy way, and the custodian takes it. The goalie is a long way from his goal. Tell him, “What is he doing?”
Robert Sanchez quickly ran out to his French defender and put his arm around him to make him feel better.
The Spanish player gave Keown a good answer, which Keown doesn’t think he would have gotten from David Seaman, a former Arsenal and England partner. ‘That one doesn’t really care. He feels a little push, but there is so much weight on it that all he has to do is roll it back to the custodian.
“If I did that (after Sanchez kissed Disasi on the cheek after the own goal), David Seaman wouldn’t have kissed me back.”
The goal would not have made Robert Sanchez feel better about himself because he was in a tough spot when the ball looped into the far corner.
Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, a former Chelsea striker, said of the Spanish custodian at halftime, “He looks a little (unnerved)”. He doesn’t play often and hasn’t played in a long time.
“When the ball comes back to him, he takes a long time.” He gets into problems and gets lucky at the same time.
“Then he does it again on the next one, but this time it gets blocked.” That’s something he needs to work on. He’s spending too much time and too much danger.
An own goal gave Leicester’s team new life after they seemed hopeless. They went on to score a second goal.
Stephy Mavididi, who came in from the left side and hit the far corner with a right-footed shot, was a great striker for Arsenal out of their youth school.
