Chelsea owner Todd Boehly have decided to sack Mauricio Pochettino and replace him with world class manager
After a disappointing season, Chelsea is thinking about Xabi Alonso, the manager of Bayer Leverkusen, as a possible alternative for Mauricio Pochettino.
Sports Zone claims that the Premier League club, which is currently 11th in the league and has had a string of bad luck, is thinking about firing Pochettino. Chelsea’s latest loss to Wolves was their 10th in 23 games this season, putting them closer to the bottom of the table than the team in fourth place.
Sports Zone says that Chelsea’s owners might want to change managers right away, and Behdad Eghbali is eager to bring in the Spanish player Alonso. But Todd Boehly might not be as open to a quick change in management. Reports say that Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also interested in Alonso.
This season, Chelsea has had a bad goal difference because they have given up more goals than they have scored. Even though Pochettino brought in new players last summer, he hasn’t made a difference. The club’s only win is making it to the Carabao Cup final.
Recent defence problems—giving up eight goals in the last two league games—have made the need for change even stronger. Chelsea is having trouble on both offence and defence, so fans are calling for a new boss.
