Arsenal Fans are calling for Mikel Arteta to be replaced by Champions league winning coach after Arsenal 0:0 draw against Manchester City

Barcelona finds itself on the hunt for a new manager as Xavi announces his impending departure from the club at the season’s close. Despite Barcelona president Joan Laporta expressing a desire for Xavi to reconsider his decision, the 44-year-old coach remains steadfast, citing the pressure he faces. Laporta’s recent interview with Mundo Deportivo revealed his attempt to persuade Xavi to stay, acknowledging the visible strain on the coach’s face and urging him not to rush his decision. Although Xavi remains determined to step down, Laporta remains optimistic for a potential change of heart.

With Xavi’s departure looming, Barcelona has begun compiling a shortlist of potential replacements, which includes prominent names such as Luis Enrique, Hansi Flick, and Rafa Marquez. However, the club has ruled out pursuing Mikel Arteta, the current Arsenal manager, due to his lack of experience and existing contract until 2025. Similarly, Barcelona is hesitant to pursue Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi due to his limited top-tier experience and significant release clause. Additionally, they have dismissed the possibility of considering Julian Nagelsmann and Thomas Tuchel due to prior commitments and impending departures.

Xavi’s exit from Barcelona comes amidst criticism of his tenure, despite securing the league title last season, highlighting the immense pressure that comes with managing a prestigious club like Barcelona. Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta has enjoyed success at Arsenal, leading the team to the top of the league this season and competing for the title in the previous season. Renowned for his tactical prowess and knack for nurturing young talents, Arteta has transformed Arsenal into a formidable contender in English football.
