After two years of being away from football ..Fabrizo Romano confirmed that the Former Real Madrid boss would take over Chelsea and continue from where Mauricio Pochettino stopped

Reports indicate that Zinedine Zidane, the former Real Madrid manager, has contemplated his future amidst links to the Chelsea managerial position. Zidane, once considered a contender to replace Graham Potter, has been without a coaching role since leaving Real Madrid in 2021. However, his prospects at Stamford Bridge seem to have dwindled, with Mauricio Pochettino now the frontrunner after Julian Nagelsmann withdrew from consideration.

Zidane’s illustrious tenure at Real Madrid, marked by three Champions League victories and two La Liga titles over four and a half years, solidified his reputation as a top-tier manager. Initially eyeing the France national team job, Zidane faced uncertainty when Didier Deschamps extended his contract.

Recent reports suggest Zidane has made a decision after nearly two years away from management. RMC Sport indicates he’s keen on a summer return, with Juventus emerging as a potential destination. Zidane enjoyed success as a player at Juventus, winning two Serie A titles, the Supercoppa Italiana, and reaching two Champions League finals.

The allure of a long-term project at Juventus, especially with the club overturning a points deduction for illicit transfers, has Zidane’s interest. However, Juventus may need to pay £17.85 million to terminate Massimiliano Allegri’s contract, which runs until 2025.
