A financial expert has claimed that Manchester City will be relegated from the Premier League should the club be found guilty of their impending 115 Financial Fair Play charges
A financial expert says Manchester City will be kicked out of the Premier League if they are found guilty of the 115 Financial Fair Play charges that are coming up. The date of the Citizens’ hearing has not been made public yet, but there is rising pressure from outside sources to move the case City forward.
Everton and Nottingham Forest were both charged earlier this week with not following the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). Everton had already been docked 10 points earlier in the season. This has made everyone talk about the many charges that are hanging over Man City’s head.
It will take a lot longer to prove 115 charges than a lot less charges because every case is different. Manchester City has become one of the most powerful teams in world football over the last ten years. Pep Guardiola’s team reached the highest level of football by winning the FA Cup, the Premier League, and the Champions League in 2022–23.
The English winners have been charged with too many crimes. What will happen next?

A business expert has broken down the possible punishments.

That’s what business advisor Stefan Borson told talkSport about what would happen if the club was found guilty. Borson said this case is “on a whole different level” from Everton and Nottingham Forest.
If these claims are proven, there is no doubt that this will end in at least relegation. There are signs of a plot going on for what seems like ten years.
If the Citizens are transferred from the top flight, it will be interesting to see what happens with the manager and the rest of the team. In order to stress how important the situation was, Borson said, “If proven, this is super serious.” That would be agreed upon by everyone. “I promise you that City will say that this is a very serious accusation.”
It is clear that teams that break the Financial Fair Play rules are being punished. Man City’s case is the biggest one so far. Richard Masters, the CEO of the Premier League, stated that City’s hearing has been set for a date, but he didn’t say when it is.
Borson stated: “There are strict confidentiality clauses within the Premier League rules, so I assume that is what he had in mind when he said he can’t comment when it is.”
What Man City will do next
Guardiola’s team is in a very close race for the title.
Pep Guaridola is the boss of Manchester City.
The players and Guardiola can’t change what’s going on off the pitch, but they still have work to do on the pitch. City is still in the running to keep all three of the trophies they won last season. They have made it to the knockout rounds of both the FA Cup and the Champions League.
There are only five points between the top five teams in the Premier League, making the race for the title very close. In December, Guardiola took his team to the Club World Cup. While they were gone, all of their foes lost points, which would have made him very happy.
Man City are still the clear favourite to win the title in May, even though they are only two points behind league leaders Liverpool. But how will these titles be remembered in the years to come?
