Real Madrid is allegedly trying to trade Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia. Cadena SER reports that they are interested in recruiting Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich and Miguel Gutierrez from Girona.
Alphonso Davies of Canada has been a long-term target for Real Madrid. His contract with Bayern Munich expires next summer, and he has yet to negotiate a new agreement with the Bundesliga giants. Apart from Los Blancos, Barcelona has also expressed interest in signing the 24-year-old.
Meanwhile, Miguel Gutierrez is connected with a return to his previous club. The 23-year-old joined Girona from Santiago Bernabeu in August 2022. Since then, he has made 93 appearances for the La Liga club, scoring six goals and providing 16 assists in all competitions.
Carlo Ancelotti is trying to trade Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia in order to make room for future signings. Mendy joins Los Blancos in July 2019 from Ligue 1 club Lyon. The 29-year-old has made 184 appearances, scoring six goals and assisting ten times in all competitions. His current deal with Madrid expires next summer.
Fran Garcia played for Real Madrid’s youth squads. However, he returned to Los Blancos from Rayo Vallecano in July 2023, and he has played 44 games for the club, scoring one goal and assisting seven times. His current deal expires in the summer of 2027, but according to the aforementioned source, the 25-year-old can leave the club next summer.
