“I’m sorry to say, but he can no longer work under me at Manchester City ”- Pep Guardiola breaks £73M forgotten City’s star’s heart and tells him to look for a new club by January- It’s the End
Pep Guardiola says he is not yet ready for Manchester City’s period of dominance to end and promises to strive to break their losing streak.
The first time City has lost four straight games since 2006, and the first time Guardiola has ever gone through such a skid in his managerial tenure, City lost to Brighton. At full time, he appeared enraged, but when he faced the media following the game, he transformed it into defiance.
“People typically lose games. It is always the first time,” he remarked. “This is our task, and it is mine. I prefer to be honest. I am not going to back down—not any less than before. I want to do it more than ever, and we will give it another go.”
“Everything happens for the first time in a lifetime. The point is that we lost two Premier League games. Naturally, we must adapt and resume winning, but we are in the standings and have qualified for the Champions League once more, and I have no doubt that we will be back to our peak when the players return.”
Guardiola attributed City’s loss against Brighton to their failure to stay aggressive or intense for the entire ninety minutes, which let the home team rally from behind and earn the three points.
“Over the next ten days, I will consider [the reason].” “Clean our minds, players return fit, this is the goal,” he continued. “I would like to play at the first half level in Lisbon when the players return. I am aware of our playing style. This is not my goal, so I know I will not persuade you, but I do know that at this particular moment, the level we are playing is very, really fantastic.
However, we can not keep going for too long. I am very certain we will return once the players return and we can add some unique characteristics to the squad.”
In response to a question about whether City’s supremacy is ending, he stated that it will not be since the City has not tried.
“I am here when we lose, but it seems like my justifications are just excuses. I feel this way. I am the first to admit that I do not enjoy playing terrible, but I do not feel that way,” he remarked.
“The masses want [our period coming to an end].” It occurs, it is natural, and we won a lot. I want the entire squad to compete, and if someone [wins], then good job. not reveal it as we are not present. I feel that we are not there, and given the circumstances, we can not do it every three days.
“We do not have the [players] that we need to do it. Is this age coming to an end? It is definitely not forever. City will not win every Premier League game for the next 56 years, that much is certain, but I would like to be there, so why not? I saw how the players exercise and how they began the first half of the Lisbon match by declaring, “We are going to do it again and again,” but the truth is that this is insufficient.
“You have to win games in this industry, and we are losing games. The players are aware that we must alter it, of course, but doing so will help us stay more focused and motivated to return so that the players can complete it. We shall see. Whatever is going to occur will happen.
