Varane is now unable to participate due to a severe injury and may withdraw from the team.

The Frenchman’s contract with Manchester United ended, and he just joined Como this summer.

Varane may possibly give up on the game, according to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, who wrote about it on X on Wednesday morning.

Romano revealed on X that Raphael Varane is seriously considering retirement from football and should make an official decision soon after suffering his most recent injury.

“He would leave Como this summer after joining with the Italian club.”
