FIFA has just announced VERY SAD NEWS for the Officials and Referees of the match between Manchester United vs Brighton and this have cost them thier Job after not awarding a clear goal calling it Offside
Manchester United’s second goal against Brighton was called out due to an extraordinary offside call.
On 70 minutes, United felt they had a 2-1 lead when Alejandro Garnacho appeared at the back post to tip in a cross from Bruno Fernandes.
The Argentine, who came off the bench for the second time in a week, scored and walked over to celebrate, his teammates following suit.
However, the ball was touched by fellow replacement Joshua Zirkzee, and it is unclear if the Dutchman touched it before it crossed the line.
Slow-motion replays revealed that Zirkzee’s knee was within inches away from crossing the line.
To make matters worse, he was barely ahead of Garnacho when he took the shot, forcing VAR to rule him offside and deny the goal.

The Premier League explained the verdict on its Match Centre Twitter feed, saying: “Zirkzee’s goal was given on the pitch.
“The VAR looked for a possible offside against Zirkzee and suggested that the goal be disallowed. “[The referee] resumed play with a Brighton free kick.”
Erik ten Hag’s team had fallen down in the first half against former United striker Danny Welbeck, who scored his 100th career goal.
United then equalised via Amad Diallo, who made his Premier League debut of the season.
But it was late heartache for Ten Hag and United, as Joao Pedro was left unmarked in the penalty box after a Brighton cross, and he headed the ball into the bottom left corner past Andre Onana.
