Rocks Stamford bridge as Chelsea owner Todd Boehly have appointed this world class manager as Mouricio Pochettino Replacement, Contract until 2025

Following his stunning departure from Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino has quickly emerged as the bookies’ favourite to become Manchester United’s next manager.

Pochettino has departed Stamford Bridge by mutual accord after only one season in command.

The former Tottenham manager faced a difficult assignment in rebuilding Chelsea with a young and inexperienced group, but after a rough season, it appeared that he was on the right track, winning the last five league games to finish sixth in the Premier League.

However, following a discussion with the club’s management, the Argentinian has departed and is now a strong contender for other major positions, with his status definitely still high.

Manchester United has a manager in Erik ten Hag, but the Dutchman’s future is uncertain following a poor season that saw the Red Devils finish eighth in the Premier League and fail to advance beyond the group stage of the Champions League.

Ten Hag can finish the season on a good note with the FA Cup final against Manchester City on Saturday, but that may not be enough to keep his job at Old Trafford.

If the former Ajax manager is fired, Pochettino is the bookies’ favourite to replace him, with Betfair giving him a 2/1 chance, albeit he is not the only candidate.
