“He will never start for Chelsea again after his poor performance that cost us the first and Second Goal- Pochettino has informed Chelsea Star that he will never start any game for Chelsea again after poor performance against Nottingham Forest
Mauricio Pochettino has been asked to replace Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson following the comeback victory over Nottingham Forest.
Willy Boly and former Chelsea sensation Callum Hudson-Odoi put Forest ahead following Mykhailo Mudryk’s early opening at the City Ground, putting the Blues in the wrong direction.
However, Pochettino’s team struck twice in the closing ten minutes to win the five-goal thriller and draw level with sixth-placed Newcastle United with two games left.
Jackson scored the winner against Forest by heading home an inviting cross from returning Chelsea captain Reece James, only two minutes after Raheem Sterling equalised.
However, former England winger Chris Waddle criticized Jackson’s performance at the City Ground and feels Chelsea should look for a new striker this summer.
Jackson, who celebrated with the away fans after scoring, has 14 goals in 33 Premier League games this season.
‘Chelsea have ability and some very excellent players,’ Waddle said BBC Radio 5 Live following the Premier League thriller. ‘There are a lot of players to build around next season, but they do need a goal scorer.

‘If they recruit a centre forward, Chelsea will challenge for the top four next season. They simply darkened it tonight.
‘But Chelsea must sort it out next season. They have several excellent players, and they occasionally play too slowly. They are on the right track, but the top four remains a long way off.
Waddle also criticized Jackson at the half-time break, claiming that his performance level meant Chelsea was playing without a striker.
‘A reasonable outcome thus far,’ he stated. Forest have had the better opportunities, but Chelsea have controlled possession and are not aiming to damage Forest.
Chelsea do not have a central forward. You can’t tell me Raheem Sterling can’t perform better than Nicolas Jackson!
Pochettino, meanwhile, was full of praise for his Chelsea team as they rallied from behind to upset Nottingham Forest, who had all but guaranteed their Premier League survival with a 3-2 defeat.
‘The best thing is that we always believe to the end that football is about battling,’ Pochettino stated.
‘I am glad because the players on the bench made a significant contribution, therefore I am satisfied with our revival. It was critical for the club to end the season strong in order to get off to a fast start the next season.

‘All the statistics indicated that we were in a misleading position. After beating Tottenham, we have spent the previous 24 games in the top four or five.
‘I want to be optimistic; that’s vital. The players believe in how we operate. We’ve struggled in these kind of games, but this young squad needs to understand how to compete.
Despite the setback, Forest are nearly certain to play in the Premier League next season, following Burnley and Luton Town’s humiliating defeats earlier in the day.
