(Video) Furious Noni Madueke involved in heated bust up with his Chelsea Teammate Cole Palmer dragging who would play the penalty despite already being 4-0 ahead

Chelsea players were embroiled in a “pathetic” dispute for a penalty despite being 4-0 up against Everton.

Chelsea demolished Everton on Monday night, with Cole Palmer leading the way.

The 21-year-old scored a 16-minute hat-trick in the first half, putting on another outstanding showing.

Nicolas Jackson scored a fourth before halftime, and Chelsea was given the opportunity to make it five from the penalty spot when Palmer was fouled just after the hour mark.

Despite the fact that they were well on their way to triumph, things heated up.

Noni Madueke stood above the penalty spot, clutching the ball, until captain Conor Gallagher approached and instructed him to pass it to Palmer.

Jackson then came in and insisted Madueke accept the penalty, as Palmer pushed him away.

Jackson led Madueke away, and Palmer converted the penalty kick for his fourth goal of the night.

The two were plainly unhappy as they unwillingly trudged up to celebrate Palmer’s goal, but they did both give their congrats.

On X, one fan said, “Grow up Jackson and Madueke, sad.” Another admirer referred to the situation as “embarrassing.”

The incident alluded to difficulties in the Chelsea dressing room, which is just one of the numerous challenges Pochettino has faced this season.

Palmer’s previous has not been a problem; the England teenager has 24 goals and 13 assists in all competitions this season after joining from Manchester City for £40 million last summer.

Palmer currently leads the Premier League scoring rankings with 20 goals this season, partnering former City teammate Erling Haaland.

Palmer will face his previous team when Chelsea and City play in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley on Saturday.
