Manchester United star faces two-match suspension risk ahead of huge Liverpool clash after what he did against Brentford 💔

This meant that on December 17, he was not present for Liverpool’s 0-0 draw. Now, if he gets a yellow card against Chelsea on Thursday and Liverpool on Sunday, he might miss league games against Bournemouth and Sheffield United.

The match against Liverpool will be his final game to be cautious in order to avoid a ban if he doesn’t receive his tenth yellow card before the Bournemouth match. After United’s thrilling FA Cup victory over Liverpool before to the international break, Fernandes briefly switched to center defense.

In the nine Premier League games since then, Fernandes has only received one booking. This occurred during the most recent matchup with Fulham. This season, he is the United player with the most bookings.

One of the numerous players in the league who is on the verge of a ban is Fernandes. However, Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes and Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson are much closer to receiving suspensions.

Each of them possesses nine yellow cards. Before Chelsea can qualify for the playoffs, they need to win four more games to reach their first 32 games of the season.
