Huge blow for Chelsea as Two First starter player suffers fresh injury during yesterday international clash

Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke of Chelsea have both been called up to the England U21 squad for their European qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg.

The Chelsea duo produced key goals as Chelsea defeated Leicester City 4-2 to go to the FA Cup semi-finals.

Noni Madueke also scored a goal as England U21 defeated Azerbaijan 5-1.

The 22-year-old winger chipped in as his team defeated Azerbaijan U21 5-1 away from home.

Carney Chukwuemeka was projected to make the squad, but was dropped at the last minute owing to a knock.

Chukwuemeka has suffered five injuries this season.

Chukwuemeka would have made significant improvement this season if he hadn’t suffered from frequent injuries. We hope he heals quickly enough.
