My dream is to play in for big teams like Chelsea, Chelsea is my dream club,-Aston Villa Star with 13 goals this season Has confirmed he will be joining Chelsea this Summer
Leon Bailey believes he would struggle to turn down a move to’massive teams’ Arsenal or Chelsea despite being ‘happy and content’ at Aston Villa.
The 26-year-old winger has had his greatest season ever at Villa Park, scoring 12 goals and providing 11 assists in 40 games across all competitions.
His form has helped Unai Emery’s side build a surprise top-four push and advance to the Europa Conference League quarter-finals, where Villa will face French club Lille.
Bailey is happy in Birmingham and’really focused’ on performing for Aston Villa, but acknowledges the opportunity to move to a ‘big six’ club would be too good to pass up.
‘There are huge teams in England; they call themselves the big six,’ the Jamaica international remarked on the Let’s Be Honest podcast. ‘The Arsenals and Chelseas.
‘It has always been my ambition to play in the Premier League, and here I am. Who wouldn’t want to join a huge team? Do you know how significant that is for the country, particularly coming from Jamaica? This is especially true given who I am.
‘It would bring more light, which has been my main objective whenever I travel. It intend to use my position to shed light on the country and its young talent. It’s tough for us Jamaicans to even imagine making it to Europe.

‘I’m not sure how to answer that question, but I’ll have to see what happens in the moment. I’ve been enjoying my football and am really focused on Aston Villa, where I’m having one of the best seasons of my career.
‘You never know in football, but I’m comfortable and pleased where I am. I just concentrate on one task at a time.’
Despite being a member of the classic ‘Big Six’, Chelsea has recently dropped down the pecking order and is currently 11th in the Premier League.
The Blues are the same number of points ahead of bottom-placed Sheffield United as they are behind Arsenal at the top.
Mikel Arteta’s Gunners lead on goal difference, but they must beat Liverpool and Manchester City in the final few games to win their first title in 20 years.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, remains fourth after earning only one point in their past two games before the international break. They resume their Champions League campaign on March 30 against Wolves.
