Chelsea Manager Pochettino broke down in tears as another 2 Key Chelsea player goes off injured during training ahead of FA Cup Clash, a very sad moment for Chelsea fans as the injury seems to be a career ending injury

Mauricio Pochettino has noted the challenges some of his youthful Chelsea players are encountering in coping with the immense pressure of representing the team.

Last summer, amidst another lavish spending spree, the Argentine assumed control at Stamford Bridge.

Since Todd Boehly took over, Chelsea has acquired a total of 28 players; among the summer arrivals, only Alex Disasi and Christopher Nkunku are older than 23.

Cole Palmer, 21, has emerged as Chelsea’s standout player since his move from Manchester City, leading the team in goals and earning a spot in the England squad.

While Pochettino believes Palmer can handle the pressures of playing for Chelsea, he acknowledges that not all players share his confidence.

Pochettino commented on Palmer’s situation, stating, “Not every player goes through the same process to settle at the club or perform.”

“We are currently experiencing a phase where the core group of young players find it challenging to handle the pressure of playing for Chelsea,” Pochettino added.

Acknowledging this challenge, Pochettino emphasized the team’s commitment to supporting these players in every possible way, beyond just training sessions.

“We have engaged extensively with the individuals working with these players, dedicating considerable time to help them,” Pochettino said. “Our aim is to assist them in various aspects of their lives, not just on the pitch.”

On Sunday, Chelsea will face Leicester City in the FA Cup quarterfinals, a rematch of the championship game three years ago, where Youri Tielemans scored a memorable late winner.

Since then, Chelsea has seen significant changes, with only Reece James, Ben Chilwell, and Thiago Silva remaining from the squad that played in the final.
