It was said that Manchester City wants to sign Bruno Guimaraes, a winger for Newcastle United.
The Brazilian player had previously said that he doesn’t like playing against City because his team, Newcastle, feels like “children” playing against 15 players every time they play them.
The 26-year-old has also shown his respect for Ilkay Gundogan, saying that he has liked the German player since they were both at Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester City wants to sign Bruno Guimaraes for £100 million.
Since 2022, when he joined Eddie Howe’s team, he has become known as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and even in all of Europe.
Guimaraes got a new deal with Newcastle in October of last year that keeps him there until 2028.
Football Transfers, on the other hand, says that Manchester City wants to sign Bruno Guimaraes because they want to improve their centre in the summer.

It has also been said that Pep Guardiola is a “big fan” of the former Lyon technology worker.
He was born in Rio de Janeiro and is said to want to leave Newcastle at the end of the season to sign with either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
At this point, though, those kinds of moves don’t seem likely.
Newcastle, on the other hand, is said to be open to offers from both of the Spanish giants. For other teams, like Manchester City, the club would demand that they pay £100 million to meet his release option.
Also named as a possible suitor is Paris Saint-Germain. It is not likely that Guimaraes will move to either Liverpool or Chelsea.
This March, City beat Newcastle 2-0, and Guardiola praised Guimaraes’ play. The player then called Guardiola “the best coach in history” [source: The Mirror].
The answer to the question of whether Bruno Guimaraes will work with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City is still unknown.
