Coming from Fabrizio Romano this afternoon Marcus Rashford gets the most severe punishment for missing training because of partying in nightclub
Marcus Rashford will be fined a lot of money by Manchester United because Erik ten Hag dropped him for being “ill” even though he was seen drinking.
Man United beat Newport County 4–2 on Sunday to move on to the fifth round of the FA Cup. Rashford did not play.
In the seventh minute, Bruno Fernandes scored the first goal. Two minutes later, Kobbie Mainoo doubled his team’s lead. Before halftime, the League Two team got one back, and after halftime, they tied the game.
Antony and Rasmus Hojlund scored for Man United in the second half to get even.
Rashford didn’t show up to training on Friday, just one day after being seen in a bar in Belfast.
The 26-year-old went out to a party on Wednesday night with his friend and former partner Ro-Shaun Williams because Thursday was a day off for the first team.
But it’s said that he also went to a bar on Thursday night, even though he had to be at training on Friday morning.
Rashford didn’t show up for training because he said he was “ill.”
Because of this, he will likely be fined two weeks’ pay, which is £650,000, according to The Daily Star.

Even without Rashford, the Red Devils made it to the next round of the FA Cup after their exciting win over Newport.
They quickly took a two-goal lead, but the Welsh team tied the game. But two goals in the second half gave the Premier League team the lead back.
Erik ten Hag was asked about Rashford’s illness before the game.
When asked why the forward wasn’t there, the Man United manager said, “Let’s just say it’s an internal matter.” I take care of it.”
A reporter asked Ten Hag if the “internal matter” had anything to do with Rashford going out to parties.
He went on: “So listen, internal matter… internal matter.”
This week, Man United plays two straight Premier League games. On Thursday, they host Wolves, and on Sunday, they host West Ham United.
