: “It’s difficult to be totally honest. Football has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.” -Former Manchester United player Paul Pogba publicly speaks about his 4-year ban from football
Juventus player Paul Pogba has revealed that it has been difficult for him after receiving a four-year suspension from sports earlier this year.
The anti-doping organization, NADO Italia, issued the punishment after Pogba failed a drug test.
He was discovered to have excessive amounts of testosterone in his system, and a ‘B’ sample also tested positive.
Juve also suspended the Frenchman, who is now earning the minimum wage under such circumstances.
In an interview with Forbes, Pogba stated: “It is tough to be really honest. Football has been a part of my life since I can remember. However, my family, faith, friends, and fans have all supported me, making things simpler. “All will be OK.”
The France international will now take his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
He said, “Although I can not say anything about it, all roads lead to the appeal date.” Until then, my priority is to keep active and look forward to the appeal.”
