Manchester City might face a hearing on the 115 accusations against them in October of this year.
On the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior journalist Pete O’Rourke stated that despite the Premier League admitting a hearing date, he expects the issue to go on for some time.
The regulatory board issued 115 allegations against Man City in February 2023 for allegedly violating FFP regulations during a nine-year period.
Although an unknown hearing date has been scheduled, Football Insider claimed on April 27 that the issue is unlikely to be decided before the conclusion of next season owing to its intricacy.
O’Rourke reported that the Citizens are likely to contest any potential sanctions, with their attorneys certain that the club has done nothing wrong.
